The Glasgow Kiltwalk is more than a walk, it’s a celebration of kindness, community, and causes that matter. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the magic happen.
With 10 diverse roles available, there’s something for everyone across the 23-mile route, giving you the chance to get involved and help keep the day running smoothly. You’ll meet inspiring people, soak up an incredible atmosphere, and know that your time and energy are directly supporting thousands of participants every step of the way.
Best of all, walkers take part for a charity of their choice, meaning your support helps raise vital funds for causes across Scotland.

Volunteering details

Be part of Scotland’s biggest walking celebration and help thousands of walkers reach the finish line, all while supporting charities of their choice.
Volunteer roles include:
Venue Kilties – welcome walkers, support start/finish areas, luggage and check-in
Pit Stop Kilties – fuel walkers with snacks, drinks and encouragement
Route & Motivator Kilties – guide, cheer and keep spirits high along the route
Cyclist Kilties (Route Patrol & Lead Bike) – provide mobile support on two wheels
Back Marker Kilties – make sure no one is left behind
Control Room & Driver Kilties – keep the event running smoothly behind the scenes
