Kirriemuir CSH Hub Connect Activity Activator

Hub Connect is a family-friendly programme which aims to help families spend time being physically active together in a safe, inclusive space for free.
This role will support coaches and volunteers with the delivery of sport & physical activity for children & adults who attend Hub Connect activity each week. You will work alongside the CSH coordinator, CSH members and local community stakeholders including ANGUSalive, Active Schools, sports clubs and Third-sector partners where required.

Suggested Activities-
Facilitate activity delivery for families and children who attend sessions and want to be physically active
Help plan and review sessions that are delivered

Requirements-
Strong self-management skills, including time management and the ability to focus independently or as part of a team
A willingness to collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the community sport hub network
A passion for being curious and learning more about the community sports hub partners you are delivering with
The ability to think critically when using or processing relevant information
The ability to think creatively/show innovation through work and in working practise


When and Where-
This activity will take place Mondays 5-6pm at Websters sports centre, Kirriemuir


What will the volunteer gain from this-

Opportunity to increase exposure to build relationships with local employers, organisations and community stakeholders in the sport, leisure and public health sector
Improved knowledge and confidence around the wider aspects of working in sport or community development
A chance to apply key learnings Meta skills in the workplace, including feedback and mentoring from local qualified club-coaches and staff members
Pathway to longer-term volunteering and employment opportunities within the Angus community sport hub network
