Volunteer Fundraising Group Leader

Fantastic opportunity to lead our new volunteer fundraising group, designing, planning and delivering exciting fundraising activities for your local mental health charity.

Health in Mind is one of Scotland’s best-known and trusted mental health organisations. Since 1982, we’ve been promoting positive mental health and wellbeing in local communities across Scotland.

From our campaigns and collaborations through to our early intervention support and trauma-informed services, we aim to build hope, resilience and understanding of mental health and wellbeing.
The Income Generation Team works closely to support the delivery of Health in Mind’s strategy, vision and purpose by: raising awareness and building the profile of Health in Mind’s work and of mental health and wellbeing; raising much needed funds; amplifying the voices of people with lived experience. We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated people to part of a group that will organise fundraising events in their community to raise money to support Health in Mind’s work.
As group lead, you’ll guide the Fundraising Group in all aspects of event planning and management to organise and hold a fundraising event. This includes securing the date, time and location of the event, promotion, allocating tasks to group members, as well as the smooth running of the event itself. You’ll support the recruitment and ongoing support for any new group members, and in the lead up to the event you will also support the group to organise and carry-out fundraising collections within the community and increase awareness of Health in Mind’s support and services
You will be playing a key role in supporting us to raise much needed funds and awareness within your local community.
