Breakfast Club Assistant

Ayr Academy is one of eight secondary schools within South Ayrshire which is located in South West Scotland. They are a six year non-denominational comprehensive school and the school roll over the last five years has been between 400 and 700.

They are currently looking for volunteers to assist at the Breakfast Club. The main duties will be preparing food and drink for the pupils attending and organising resources.

Skills & experience required:

• Ability to engage positively with young people and staff.
• Clear and friendly verbal communication skills.
• Organisational Skills
• Managing time effectively to set up and serve breakfast promptly.
• Keeping the area tidy and ensuring food safety standards.
• Teamwork
• Working collaboratively with other volunteers and school staff.
• Basic Food Handling Knowledge
• Understanding hygiene and safety when preparing or serving food.

This role is available Monday - Friday 8 -9am. We will be flexible if applicants can do some mornings but not others.
