Funding/Grants Volunteer

The Falkirk Braes Grange Centre (FBGC) was formed in 2024 in order to progress a Community Asset Transfer of the Grange Community Education Centre building, located in the Braes area of Falkirk. The volunteer FBGC Committee progressed to full community asset transfer ownership of the building from October 2025. FBGCs vision is to create a well utilised, sport and wellbeing, community led asset that helps deliver long-term benefits to the local community.

The Falkirk Braes Grange Centre would love some extra volunteers to join our funding/grants team. You can choose how often you'd like to help out - whether this is a one off application or a few hours per week or month, all help will be greatly appreciated. Roles will be homebased although support will always be on hand from other volunteers via phone/email or virtual/in person meet ups if required.

Tasks involved:

  • Identifying grants/funds for the Falkirk Braes Grange Centre to apply for to fund various projects

  • Filling in grant applications/answering any questions received

This is a home-based role so volunteers will need their own laptop/computer/tablet/internet connection at home.
