Boatmaster for Canal Boat

This is an excellent opportunity for a Boatmaster Tier 2 Level 1 to come volunteer with Forth and Clyde Canal Society.

Forth & Clyde Canal Society was instrumental in the campaign to get the Forth and Clyde canal reopened and have continued to promote the use of the canal and surrounding areas since its inception in 1980. 

A Boatmaster Tier 2 Level 1  is required to skipper passenger boat on Forth & Clyde Canal. 


Flexible Role,  Training on inhouse methods will be provided.

By Car - head to Stables Restaurant, Glasgow Bridge, Kirkintilloch G66 1RH,
By Bus - First Bus no 89 from Buchanan Bus Station drops you off right at Stables Restaurant and we are situated on the far side of the canal
