GWT is the nationally recognised centre for excellence for the development and integration of intergenerational work across Scotland. It facilitates 16 local networks across Scotland, supporting practitioners from a wide range of fields interested or engaged in intergenerational practice. Networks meet twice a year, allowing members and those new to GWT to connect with other groups and organisations in their local community. GWT further raises awareness of intergenerational practice through events such as learning Roadshows the annual conference and Global IG Week. GWT also delivers training and creates publications to support intergenerational practice.
